Lovely shot..it looks (to me) like the town in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where all the children have bee stolen and everyone is in doors. But thats just me.

Nicely done. Lovely soft colour. We have that same muted sky here at the moment and it's hard for me to get motivated to get out and about.

Nice square. Buildings have nice feel about them. These sort of squares are always nicer with old 16th and 17th century buildings. The paving has come up well. It looks new. The composition is great as it shows enough of the square to get a good idea of its charater. What's the weather like in Bielefield? Do you get much chance to sit out for al-fresco dinning/drinking?

12 Nov 2009 2:15pm

@Philip: I wouldn´t sit out much at the moment, windy, cold and wet.During the summer months though there are dozens of great coffe shops, bars and bistro´s in the "altstadt" (old town) where you can sit outside and enjoy the good weather. This market square is bustling with activity at weekends and on a Saturday morning it even still has a fresh fruit and veg market open.
Cheers for the great comment.
