Collaborations #1 "Low down"

Something different for today and tomorrow...
The next two shots are collaborations with my kids.
Todays shot was taken by my 19 year old son Cailean.We were on a photo walk together and he could comfortably get down on the floor to take this(my Arthritic knees make that sort of thing a pain)
I added a little post processing and the result you see before you .

Hectic life just carries on.Swine flu is running rife in Germany at the moment (have you got it where you are ?) and over a third of everybody at work are sick at the moment so the few left fit,well and fighting are having to push out the over time to make up for the sick and missing !!
I´ll be in to comment when I can.

Well done to him. I know what you mean about knees. You need one of those snappy little cameras with a swivel screen so the camera can go down without complete collapse on your part.

I like the low down angle of the shot, it works well. Nice one Cailean.

I'm with you on the dodgy knees too i'm afraid Anthony, (did too much sport in my youth) as I can still touch my toes, I use that technique to get low down shots, the neighbours always know I'm taking photos in the garden when they see me bent double over the flowers, not a pretty sight i'm sure LOL :D

Very good collaberation Anthony. I know what you mean about the knees. I often use a stool but you would look silly walking through a town with a camera in one hand and a stool in the other. Great pic.

@Marion: Unfortunatly I have very bad Arthritis in my knees at a "young" age.A present from my time in the forces wearing down my knee joints running around like a mad man in Army boots for years.
I´ve been operated on both knees and take medication when the pain gets too bad.
I find that just holding the camera down low and popping off a lot of shots off using the viewing screen and not the viewfinder is the best way.Most will come out crooked but good old "photoshop" can help with that.Although there is no substitute for getting down on the ground yourself with the camera to your eye !!
