Urban GraffittiPosted by Anthony Morgan Lambert (Bielefeld, Germany) on 20 May 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. I´ve read that certain bloggers find my City scapes boring and not worth posting.I hope that the above mentioned person takes a look at this shot and also finds it mind numbingly boring.I don´t really care, everyone is entitled to their opinion I just find it sad that they find they have to indulge in this Kindergarden type of commenting and petty put downs.... Hectic life just carries on.Swine flu is running rife in Germany at the moment (have you got it where you are ?) and over a third of everybody at work are sick at the moment so the few left fit, well and fighting are having to push out the over time to make up for the sick and missing !!

@Alun: Thanks very much Bro !! Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaThe angle that you took this at is perfect. Does well in b&w. I like it a lot. Phooey on whoever thinks your stuff is boring. 20 May 2009 6:15am @Marion: Thanks for your support Marion,it´s not the first time this person has had a go at me. Rags from Plano, United Statesyour city is totally worth blogging. Please keep showing it to us. 20 May 2009 7:00am @Rags: I will,I will, thanks for the great comment. Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandThis can never be boring mate!!! Great shot, great angle, great composition!!! 20 May 2009 7:07am @Linerberry: You are so kind Liners,I thank you !! @chrissy: Cheers !! Sarito from Basingstoke, United KingdomVery nice urban shot.. like the b/w touch. Every one has different opinion, point of view, I wouldn;t worry about it. Keep them coming :). 20 May 2009 7:53am @Sarito: I don´t mind anybody offering critisism of my shots,I welcome it in fact.but this guy(I´ll mention no names) has had a go at me personaly(although I´ve never even met him) and has slagged off my work on some one elses blog.... MrsAmber from West Wickham, United KingdomYes I couldn't have put it better myself...."Phooey". Keep on doing it as you do it Anthony! I enjoy seeing scenes from all around the world on Aminus3, it sure beats looking out my office window in Croydon everyday! I see images of places I'll never go and wonder at how people can make an unpleasant or ugly site into an artistic picture. Like your shot today. PHOOEY! 20 May 2009 9:20am @MrsAmber: I couldn´t agree with you more.Seeing where other people live and travel is a major part of this blog for me.Of course the photography side of things should not be forgotten, there is so much to learn from all you guys in that direction and seeing a wonderful image from somebody can really lift my day. jeff (aka dogilicious) from Millerstown, PA, United StatesI like te way the stairs and bridge draw the eye through the picture. Nice b/w. 20 May 2009 10:31am @jeff (aka dogilicious): That´s what I hoped for, cheers Jeff !! grouser from Ludlow, United KingdomNice composition that takes the eye across the pic and back again 20 May 2009 10:51am @grouser: Cheers mate, always a pleasure to recieve a comment from you !! Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaLook at that 605 instead of 666, the world's spirituality is higher, love this photo ;) 20 May 2009 12:36pm @Lorraine: Nothing to do with with spirituality I´m afraid,605 are the last three digits in the post code of this area(33605).I guess somebody thinks it´s cool to call their gang after a postcode ????? MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWT? some people are so far up themselves it's a wonder that they can breathe! 20 May 2009 2:39pm @MaryB: I am most humbled by your support Mary(and that of everybody else who has posted today) I really did think of binning am3 this week but all the kind words have changed my mind.I thank you all !!! @john4jack: :-) LOL !! I know what the rough translation is John and I won´t.(I bet some people are now wondering what we are on about) Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United KingdomI wonder if the (Gentleman ??) in question is "observant" enough to notice the support you are receiving or perhaps he is hiding so far behind other peoples sites that he thinks he cant be "observed "...Come out, Come out, where ever you are. 20 May 2009 7:07pm Ted from South Wales, United KingdomJust some thoughts (and clichés):- The bottom line is that I for one enjoy & appreciate your work (and cities) and your feedback...so don't give it another thought! 20 May 2009 8:54pm @Ted: Never was a truer word spoken, thanks Bill Brown from California, United StatesI really like this b&w image! You have a great portfolio so don't be put off by one dissenting voice. Keep up the good work. 21 May 2009 3:38am @Bill Brown: Thank you for saying so,very kind. Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomI've missed what's gone on Anthony as I haven't been around much due to work and a sly mini break to Cornwall in the middle of things so I'll have to backtrack. I'll say one thing though, I like the composition of this one. The angles work well and the eye is led nicely to the apartments with pit stops along the way to check out the graffiti and the canopy that protects the train from vandals (presumably). Keep up the good work. 21 May 2009 7:06am @Mike: Lucky you,Cornwell !! Did you try the Pasties MMHH !! Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceI always wonder if this is the real urban art ? 21 May 2009 7:40pm @Calusarus: I´m not much of a fan of graffitii, this is only 5 minutes away from where I live and it´s a real eye sore !! But it´s always worth a photo though .. Bro from London, United KingdomThis could only be boring for someone with no imagination. Who painted that? Look at the damp seeping down into the concrete. Who brushes the steps? Who lives in the flats over the bridge? Who uses this bridge? When do the graffittists come? What's it like crossing the bridge in the dark? How often are the trains? What's it like to live there... Long live democracy and free image posting on the world wide web! Power to the people! Let no participant define how we participate. As Sitting Bear of the great Sioux tribe said, "No human can tell another what to do." Let's end their pretentious elitism and demolish their pseudo university! Phew, I feel much better after that. Thanks for the cathartic moment Anthony. 21 May 2009 9:30pm @Bro: You´ve got me cuffing away tears from my eyes mate !! Very Very well said.Probably the best comment I´ve ever had.Thank you enormously...... Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomCouldn't go to Cornwall without trying one. I chose Ann's World Famous Pasties....... Very nice. 23 May 2009 7:33am jamesy from christchurch, New ZealandI love Bros comment and your shots may they long keep coming 25 May 2009 9:20am @jamesy: It was a great comment and I will certainly keep the shots coming, never fear !! bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United KingdomI need names ,boyo...I'll form a posse...let's ride after them.... 29 May 2009 11:14pm @bronzebilly u.k.: Me ??
