Let it snow !!

The view from my Balcony last winter.......
Hectic life just carries on.Swine flu is running rife in Germany at the moment (have you got it where you are ?) and over a third of everybody at work are sick at the moment so the few left fit,well and fighting are having to push out the over time to make up for the sick and missing !!
I´ll be in to comment when I can.

Is snow still guaranteed there Anthony? It's become very much a hit and miss affair here. The last really good snowfall was in 1982 when we got six feet and all the roads disappeared. It went down to minus 20 one night and the propane gas wouldn't work. It hung around for six weeks of crystal clear sunny days and then spring came with a bang. Lovely. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

@grouser: We normaly get one good dumping a year these days here in Bielefeld.To see really deep snow all winter long we just have to visit my wife´s home stomping ground,the Harz mountains.

This would be a nice shot without all that white fuzzy stuff in it ....I hope it's not like this when we come over or you can go to the Christmas Markets on your own.

I've not seen that stuff for years, I wish for it every winter, but it never arrives. My 14 year old lad has never really played in the snow, he thinks half an inch of slush on the ground is a blizzard.

Snow does look so beautiful but I personally like prefer seeing it on a postcard
However that all said great capture, love the child in the foreground playing in the snow

I'd love to wake up to this scene at christmas, brilliant the way the flash has lit up the falling snow, like little jewels tumbling down.
